Through the tremendous and heartwarming support from family, friends, fans, and financial investments, "My First" was able to be made. The "My First" Team has been developing, filming, and editing the series and is currently in post-production. Episode 1 was first screened in Baltimore at the JHU MICA Film Centre in May 2022.
The main goal of this web-series is to open an honest and candid dialogue about sex, consent and safety (specifically for sexually active women) in the media (to normalize real stories).
"My First" is a short form 5-episode web-series that encapsulates the important people we meet on the way towards understanding more about love, sex, and self-worth as a woman seeking sexual liberation in a patriarchal world.
Each episode is dedicated to a person and a 'first' experience. Here's everything you need to know about each episode.
Episode 1: Kevin, My First Love


Episode 1 recounts the passion in innocence and the bliss in a first love through the protagonist's high school boyfriend, Kevin. As blooming "high school sweethearts," they decide to wait until marriage and dedicate their lives to God. But the progatonist starts to wonder if a woman can explore her body, sexuality, and freedom while remaining "faithful" in her relationship? Lord, give her guidance...

Episode 2: Alex, My First F*ckboy
Our protagonist enters college ready to enjoy her new-found freedom to find new friends, experiences, and opportunities when she meets him. Alex. Through the span of one night, the protagonist learns an important lesson about the dangers of indulging in all of life's pleasures.

After a taste of bad luck, the protagonist turns to the advice of her peers and decides to explore the vast and intimidating world of online dating.
But after matching with someone she never would have expected, the protagonist is forced to confront matters of self-image and sexuality through sext conversations, drugs, and more parties.
