About Me:

 

My name is Amanda Pak, and I am a filmmaker and writer based in L.A. and the greater California  area.

Since March 2021, I have been working on my first project, aptly titled "My First"! "My First" is a web-series exploring the important life lessons about sex, safety and self-worth. This project is a labor of love, and introduces some amazing new emerging artists. Written, Directed, Produced, and Starring Amanda Pak. In May of 2022, I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with the Film and Media Studies department where I learned irreplaceable lessons about art, beauty, and storytelling. To learn more about the beauty found in Baltimore, check out my multi-media personal collection called "Objects of Affection".

During my years of experience, I have worked as a Creative Director, Costume Designer, Makeup Artist, Camera Operator, On-Set Sound, and Video Editing. Check out "Collaborations" to explore some other projects I've been involved in, and the great talents behind them!

I am currently working as an Executive Producer for Allegra Leguizamo's short film "Flash Warning" coming out in 2024.

 As a queer, Asian American artist, I believe that diversity is the key to inclusivity: my goal as an artist is to tell stories that deserve to be heard. My goal is to create art that reveres the rawness of humanity through personal and intimate stories. Art is nothing without community. I would be nowhere without my community.
